A big high for this set compared to competitors, but it is exactly what you see here.  The pitcher barely fits into the bowl, but it fits, so that's what counts.  The pitcher is 1 7/8 inches high x almost 1/2 inch across on the bottom with the opening at 3/8 of an inch.  It is porcelain and doesn't wobble when set on the table.  The bowl is 1 inch across the top and 1/2 across the bottom.  It can be used together or separately since it is a non fru-fru set that can be used in multiple ways.  I rather like it and it's on my list to purchase again.
