Rare, exquisitely crafted linen press by artisan Dennis Jenvey. Signature is dated 1981. Piece was purchased at the Kensington Fair, England in 1982 direct from artist. Unusual cabinet used in the early centuries to hold linens, clothing and bedding. Five unique pull out shelves are behind the finely hinged doors. Below are four working drawers with Chippendale brass hardware.
