Ralph E. Partelow, Jr. Queen Anne Grand Piano handcrafted of walnut is signed and numbered.  It is meticulously strung with brass wire. The wood pole allows for showing the art piece with the lid extended or closed. The carved music rack is separate and adjustable. Beautiful ‘ivory and ebony’ keys, 52 white and 36 black.  Hand lettered Steinway name and logo are painted in gold.  The brass pedals rest on a carved wood and brass harp.  Added is a bench with hand carved legs.  This is not a music box. Piano was purchased direct from the artist in September, 1986.  Was purchased for our shop by the original owner, however it was never put up for sale, nor displayed.  Truly a piece for a collector or musician.

Mr. Partelow started making miniature musical instruments in his school days when carrying two majors, music/piano and theology. It was then he met John Steinway, who admired his talents and encouraged the young artist. Partelow has been fortunate in being able to combine these two loves in his professional life. He has reached miniature collectors all over the globe and has ministered to parishioners in the East, West US and Missions in Kenya, Africa.  His work is the definition of prized by collectors.
